Since 1955, when the Archdiocese of Chicago established Prince of Peace, we have provided a Christian haven for many Catholics in the Lake County area and has grown from a few hundred families to over 2,500 families today. It has been through their generous support and involvement that Prince of Peace has developed into the thriving Parish that we now enjoy. During these 50+ years, we have consistently provided:

• A church that offers a comforting and welcoming presence to nurture our spirituality.
• A community where we come together to share our spiritual and personal lives.
• A community that offers over 60 ministries to serve the needs of our parishioners, our community and our world.
• A comprehensive school & religious program that provides our children with an excellent education.
